The idyllic location of the Rusland Pool Hotel, on the edge of the lake District National Park, ensures you are perfectly positioned to explore the dramatic Cumbrian Countryside, local walking routes, and all the shops in the nearby Lakeland Market Towns

We also welcome contractors and business stays and we are within easy access of BAE Systems, Glaxo, Burlington Slate, Playdale and many others.

Wake up to a traditional hearty Cumbrian breakfast

After a peaceful nights sleep wake up to the aroma of a freshly cooked breakfast made with delicious Cumbrian sausages, bacon and eggs from our local suppliers, hash browns, beans, and fresh tomatoes.

Vegetarian breakfasts are also available and all cooked breakfasts are accompanied with a selection of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts, toast and as much tea or coffee as you need.

Check in/out

You are welcome to arrive and check-in anytime from 2.30pm. If you are going to arrive later than 10.30pm please let us know

Normal check out is 10.30am but if you would like to stay in your room until a later time please let us know and we will do our best to oblige. Up until 12noon there is a £5 supplement.

Rest assured you can relax on the most comfiest of beds in one of our 14 bedrooms, which have all been newly refurbished as part of our renovation programme.

To ensure a comfortable night's stay, each of our rooms includes;

- double or twin beds, with cosy duvets and plump pillows

- residential areas where you are welcome to read our books or make use of a selection of games

Booking Terms and Conditions

We will ask you for a credit card to guarantee your stay at the time of booking but you will not be charged until you have completed your stay with us.If you have to cancel for any reason you need to let us know before 12noon the day before and you will not be charged. Any later and you will incur charges of a one night stay.

Whilst we do operate a minimum two nights stay policy at weekends, and during bank holidays, this is negotiable.
