Rachel, Michael & Bob would like to welcome you to their newly refurbished hotel, offering the warmest of Lake District welcomes, with great food and comfortable rooms.The Rusland Pool Hotel is an ideal location within the Lake District National Park on the A590 between Newby Bridge and Ulverston, on the main thoroughfare to and from South Lakeland and within easy reach of the Central Lakes, the Furness and Cartmel Peninsulas and the West Cumbrian Coast.
A perfect destination to MEET. EAT. DRINK & RELAX. Whether you wish to sample a locally sourced dish from our extensive menu, take a relaxing break in the spectacular surrounding countryside or just stopping by for a drink, you have the choice of unwinding in our spacious oak beamed Restaurant, cosy Saddle Bar with low ceilings and a real log fire (always roaring through the winter months) or in our light and airy Conservatory.
Food is available Monday to Saturday between 12 noon and 9pm and Sundays 12 noon to 8.30pm. Breakfasts are also served from 7am to 10am and we are open to non-residents.

If you are planning on staying a while our attractive, newly refurbished en-suite rooms make for a very peaceful nights sleep, complete with brand new beds, plush duvets and plump pillows.
Whatever your plans, Rusland Pool Hotel is an ideal base for touring the South Lakes area, with many family attractions nearby including the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, the World of Beatrix Potter and the Lakeland Motor Muesum.
As well as Families, Groups and those with pets, we welcome Contractors and Business Stays. We are within easy reach of business' such as BAE Systems, Glaxo, Burlington Slate etc and we are only a short drive from the local towns of Ulverston and Barrow-In-Furness.

Whatever your preference we can cater for all your needs; vegetarian, gluten free, low calorie healthy options, just let us know in advance. The aroma of freshly prepared home cooking will fill the air and tempt you with everything from a hearty Cumbrian Breakfast to delicious Sunday roasts. Mouthwatering Chef's specials change on a daily basis and we are committed to serving freshly prepared food, made on the premises, from the best locally sourced ingredients. Our Bar area
Naturally we always have a ready supply of the finest Cask Ales and Guest Ales from local breweries; Greenodd Brewery - one of our suppliers, producing Old Ship Inn Bitter 4.1%, and Sheep Ale 4.1%.

DRINK & RELAX whether you wish to sample a dish from our enticing menu or just take a relaxing break and stop for drink, you have the choice of our spacious Oak beamed Restaurant, the cosy Oak Beamed Bar - with real log fire, or the light and airy Conservatory. On warmer days why not stretch out on the patio enjoying the scenic landscape.

You are welcome to arrive and Check - In anytime from 2.30pm. If you are going to arrive later than 10.30pm then please let us know. Normal Check - Out time is 10.30am but if you would like to stay in your room until a later time then we will do our best to oblige.
Booking Terms and Conditions We will ask you for a credit / debit card to guarantee your stay at the time of booking but will not charge your card until you have completed your stay with us. CancellationsIf your plans should change we need 48 hours notice then you will not be charged. Late notice of a cancellation will result in a charge of one night.
